Belmont County Transportation Improvement District
The Belmont County Transportation Improvement District (BCTID) was created by the Belmont County Commissioners to facilitate and foster increased collaboration with local partner jurisdictions and other County, Regional, State and Federal agencies to advance work on various projects and County commitments regarding transportation improvements and to implement and effect a regional approach to transportation improvements in support of economic development in the County and Region.
Mr. Dennis Bigler, Service Director for the City of St. Clairsville, serves as the chairman of the BCTID. Other members of the board include Matt Coffland, Belmont County Commissioner; Fred F. Bennett, Belmont County Engineer; Greg Bizzarri, Richland Township Trustee and Ginny Favede, Belmont County Commissioner.
Regularly scheduled board meetings for the BCTID are held at 1:00 P.M. on the second Monday of each month. In the event that the meeting date falls on a legal holiday, meetings will be held on the Tuesday of that week. The schedule for the remainder of 2010 is as follows: April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 12, November 8 and December 13.
